How can I download CS5.5 Design Standard on my home PC to match my work PC - seems like only CS6 is available on Adobe's website..?
Well, you could snatch the backed-up install files from your work PC/ borrow the DVDs... Other than that, try this: http://prodesigntools.com/tag/ddl
Mylenium
Many thanks....
Went to the prodesigntools website....it took a few hours, not straightforward, as usual (can't do this, can't do that etc).....but got it going in the end.
Not venting, but some feedback for them:
Why wouldn't Adobe have 5.5 on their website, for anyone who got it via download & doesn't have disks, but needs a re-install after hardware trouble or like me wants to use a second machine...? Seems like Adobe just leave you to hang, even though 5.5 is not very old.
Their file-incompatibility, version-frenzy and download-limitations seem to present constant blockages and pain for we occassional users, who don't use their products 24/7 and don't want all the time and cost of so many upgrades.
How about a 18 or 24 month cycle for the basic packages..? Premium / full time users can change every 6 months or more if they have to.
Anyway, I would have been lost without your tip. Keep up the good work.
