How to have audio fx decay after clip is passed on timeline

May 23, 2012 8:13 AM

I notice that if I put a reverb on an audio track and when that track ends the feverb ends with no decay of the sound. More cut off. This is not very pleasing at all. Is there a way to have this not happen? Sony Vegas has this to where audio fx are still present after the clip has played. Any ideas?

Thanx guys.

Extend the clip.  This will extend the effect.

    Then you're stuck.

You might have to do this in Audition or SoundBooth.

Well, that is why they include a very powerful, feature rich audio editor like Audition.
