    Hi

    I'd like to know, too.

I asked Adobe (on the 22 May 2012) through Twitter if the Creative Cloud subscription service would be available in South Africa this year.

This is the response I got, ''We want to make #CreativeCloud as widely available as possible. Please keep checking back for country availability!''

    I'm still in the dark.

It seems impossible to get straight answer about the roll out of Creative Cloud in SA, very frustrating. Adobe you can learn a thing or two about roll out from Apple. I really need this to happen!!

Adobe will be adding additional countries over time and I can confirm that the plan is to make Creative Cloud available in South Africa in the future.  Adobe will provide more details at a later date.

Sorry, I understand your frustration but I don't have any new information at this time.  All I know is South Africa is on the roadmap but no specific timeline has been provided.

What about Nigeria? I'm a BC partner and I cannot have a creative cloud account doesn't just make sense.  I want to ask, if i get someone in those countries Adobe supports to open an account on my behalf and I access the account in Nigeria. Will I be able to make use of it. I hope Adobe won't be trying to adopt a paypal approach. It won't do Adobe any good, because a lot of people will swam to p***** Bay & Co. Adobe would again be losing money which defeats the purpose of CC. Please support Nigeria before the end of year or kindly extend the trial days of all softwares in creative cloud until the unsupported country is supported. Thanks.

Suprisingly there is a hub of creative people here in South Africa and if Adobe want to have success on the cloud platform they need to focus strongly on servicing countries who are unable to afford their full product pricing.  Surely we should be close to launched now since South Africa can now use online payment gateways such as PayPal and other merchant solutions...  Come on Adobe. Wake up now, do you want to breed a culture of piracy or do you want to make sales?

It's unacceptable Mr Ryan Barrans that there is no indication when the rollout will be available, every other software company in the world have extensive roadmaps. You are basically telling us not to ever hope on getting Creative Cloud.

Can you at least get someone who has a better understanding of the product roadmap to tell us a date or, if its not to be then inform us so we dont have to endeavour this false hope in your company.

I couldn't agree more. I just did a clean system ugrade this weekend. Not wanting to install CS5 again, I am now running CS6 in trial mode with the hope that Adobe will have Creative Cloud up for South Africa by the time my trial expires. Risky risky.

    Thanks. Gives me hope.

My trial should be expiring about 5 days before end November. Any way to get a couple days extension? Who should I contact to find out if it is doable?

    Hey Sprock,

"VSELWYN" did respond to a message which I posted the other day and made mention about only targeting the end of November for availabilityt.  This doesnt guarantee that we will get it here in SA though, its a target only.

In your email which you recieved it does clearly states that they are talking about a 30 days free trial.  I am confident that we can come to a resolve on this topic without getting so worked up about it, I too really want to have Creative Cloud and have had to bite the bullet for now and sit with a trial account.

Hope we get it as soon as VSE:WYN's mentioned target date.  Have a great and creative day further.

    Hi there,

I had the same UGE dissapointment this morning - and wasted quite a bit of my day. I have been waiting patiently as my company is a small business and the cloud is the only affordable option for us. Nevertheless, I am desperate to start using the cloud. I have used my 30 day trial which expired a couple of weeks ago.

In the meantime I have booked training for InDesign because I will need to work throughout December and now have no Application to train on. Is there anything that you could suggest in order for me to at least get my training from next week?

    Hey guys,

That is very strange. I have already paid for my 1 year subscription.

They deduct the money from my cc every month.

Perhaps you should try to contact the support live chat to get your subscription going!

The best place to start is the South African site. Go to www.adobe.co.za and take it from there and you should all be able to subscribe.
