After installing the trail version of CS6 photoshop extended , why do i not see the 3D pull down menu?
Because your graphics card isn ot supported or at least its driver is not up to snuff. 3D featurtes require working GPU features.

When I click the Help-->about Photoshop Menu there is the "Extended" in light blue text. There is just no 3D Menu.
Yes, it's Extended, but as i said, 3D features require a working OpenGL setup. Check your Preferences --> Performance section.

So is the installation exactly the same for Standard and Extended, and only the serial number deciding on which is activated? It must make for some wasted megabytes for Standard users.
If you have older XP operating system 3 D will not work.
I have Win XP version 2002 Service pack 3 . Maybe thats the reason for it not to work. Thanks!
