Hi,
everytime I try to import an article from a InDesign file with multiple layouts (for iPad and iPhone) I get an error message that a file with different page sizes can't be imported.
The file only can be added manually to the folio when it is opended in ID.
But this means that I need to create all my folios manually – 3 times, if I create for iPad, iPad 3 and iPhone.
Who knows about this problem?
Hope for a solution.

Something that kills the advantages for multiple-Layouts for the time being. Has this "bug" been known at the release of v20? Ist it documented in a place where on could find it other than this forum?
It would be easier to knew things (bugs) like this before learning them the hard way during production process (like every time
)
Where is the best plkace to inform? This Forum? Thanks in adavance everyone.
btw: other than this bug, i really like the feature of multiple layouts in one document. I'm sure in the future this will help us a lot.
1 - In InDesign CS6, choose Help > Updates. If the DPS Desktop Tools option appears, install it. Then you'll be using the most current tools. (If DPS Desktop Tools does not appear, it's already been updated.)
2 - You can create articles using alternate layouts, but you have to use the Add button. The Import option is not yet supported for documents with alternate layouts.
Many thanks Bob for your support. 1) I want only understand what is my release number. Yes, i know that is updated! 2) Sorry - remember me where is -- Add feature -- i don't find it! So,
Given the timing of versions relases of DPS, if I get this straight, that would mean that, at least up to end or middle fall this year, DPS won't allow importing multiple articles that use alternate layout? ...meaning you'd have to do that one by one manually and that you cannot use things like sidecar.xml and/or some kind or scripting?
I'd just like to be sure because that would have an important effect over a prospective workflow.
