Still don't see the ability on Multi-Camera Monitor to drop the frame rate (like you can on the source and reference windows) to allow usage on less powerfull machines

I installed the update and Norton blocked a file. (that has never happened before)  Once I releaseed the file from Norton, Premiere still wouldn't load.

I had to reinstall the whole program...now Premiere opens up again.

As a result, I am afraid to allow the update on my other computer.

Why is the update setting off Norton anti-virus?   This has never happened in the past.

Keep 'em coming, Adobe.   I see nothing in the "fixed bugs" list about the mightykilt error dialog, the titler and export windows reverting to default state constantly, the blank VST audio plugs GUI, and most importantly, the Info pane not updating while trim functions are being performed.

    It's a good start.

I am confused about the 5.03 update for windows which shows numerous fixes. However 5.03 has been out for quite some time. Should it be 5.04 as with the Mac?

    IIRC, 5.0.4 was a Mac-only update. 5.0.3 was the last PC/Mac update.

    Good luck,

    Hunt

When I try to start Premiere CS6.01 the loading stops on

"ExporterQuickTimeHost.prm" for 3-4 Min. now (since the Update)

after this time, the Program works normal.

Has anybody an idea about this ???

    Regards

    Matthias

I had to reinstall the CS6 suite in order to get Premiere to not stall, (and not open at all) on the "ExporterQuicktimeHost.prm".

The program opened up fine before the update.

Restarting the computer didn't help at all.  I had to reinstall the suite in order for Premiere to open up.

Todd, a lot of bugs was fixed, maybe it's time to modify editing behaviours, time to think about editors which get used to work with mouse, so called mouse-fans (CS5.5 and older) just by adding a switch near the Snap switch called Selectable Edit Points.

    Mode 1: Edit Point(s) are Selectable (CS6)

    Mode 2: Edit Point is Not Selectable (Premiere 1.0 - 6.5c, Premiere Pro CS1 - CS5.5)

also adding a checkbox in Preferences > Trim:

Allow Selection tool to select Edit Points inside a selection of multiple Clips

    after the switch

Allow Selection tool to choose Roll and Ripple trims without modifier key

Kevin, you may notice that in most of my posts there's a

    Feature Request/Bug Report Form

      ******BUG******

    section

    Link: http://www.adobe.com/go/wish

    and there's a link to http://www.adobe.com/go/wish

The thing is that you will not receive feedback from the Feature Request Form

I fixed my problem by uninstalling CS6 and CS5.5.  I then ran the Adobe suite Cleaner Tool.  I then disabled my Norton 360 program.  I then reinstalled CS5.5 and CS6.

All is well, Premiere loads fine, and all seems to be working normally.   So FYI...disable your Norton 360 program before accepting any updates from Adobe.

At this point I am afraid to turn the Norton program back on...sad, but the files in the Adobe update come across as "suspious".

Agian, I tried every other way to fix this, but this solution worked.  Deactivate Adobe, Uninstall, Use the Adobe Cleaner program, reinstall with the Norton program disabled.

Big hassle to say the least!  But Premiere is working normally now.

I hope this helps others who are also using the Norton 360 Anti virus program.  (I still have no idea why the Adobe update set it off)

I wouldn't bother with Norton to be honest but great that you have found a solution
