why do i get invalid pointer error after importing photos. there is a red cross on the blank photos.

    And in what program on what operating system? You need to be more specific! Pointer errors are memory address errors, often related to damaged installs or missing system libraries (DLLs on Windows systems). Could also be some driver error...
