CS 5.5: getting out of table via Esc?

Hi,

 

when the text cursor is within a textfield I can use the Esc key to get out of the field (and have the text field selected).

But now my cursor is within a table -- with Esc I can only select the table cell.

 

Is there shortcut to get out of the cell, too?
