Is there Such a Thing as Character Styles in Photoshop?

I am currently working in a place where we do all of our layouts for email blasts and website wells in Photoshop.

Illustrator and InDesign are simply not used here for layout.

There is a lot of type involved in these layouts.

I miss being able to establish type styles and then being able to sample those styles and assign them to other blocks of copy, using the eyedropper tool or being able to assign character or paragraph styles to blocks of copy.

As far as I know, there is no way to do this in Photoshop like you can in InDesign.

Is there a technique that is anything like this that Im not aware of?

Id love it if there was.
