search functionality in coldfusion

Hi All,

 

I have a huge database and users try to thousands of data from the DB and its taking much type to retrive data and display it to users. to make it fast can i use the Verify/Solr search functionality. Previosly i used verity searchy for docs but not for DB. which search functionality is best verity/solr with DB.
