OK, So, I've been playing with the PS6 extended 3D facility. I've obviously asked PS to do something it doesn't like, and the app crashes. That's ok... BUT... on restart (and indeed a clean install of the program) I get presented with window which says "do you want to restore windows..."
I select NO, but it still tries and crashes!
Can you help please I can't use my PS at all ![]()
Is it possible to post a screen shot of the behavior? It was opening previously but now it prompts you to "restore windows" whenever you try to open Photoshop CS6? Have you tried resetting the preferences?
Press and hold Alt+Control+Shift (Windows) or Option+Command+Shift (Mac OS) as you start Photoshop. You are prompted to delete the current settings.

David, I re-installed PS CS6 and the problem still occured.
Even though I could quickly go File>New>Save. Creating and saving a new document was possible!however as soon as I have done that, PS tries to open the previous session windows and crashes!
I restarted my Mac in "Safe" mode, opened the files and they were as I had left them.
Restarted in normal mode and again, everything good !
I'm wondering, could it have been a font activation problem?
Anyway, I'm back up and running so thanks for your reply anyway.
