Cannot view site in IE6

When attempting to view my site in IE6 I see the following message:

"Internet Explorer was unable to link to the Web page you requested. The page might be temporailary unavaliable." {and the usual additional cannot connect info}

 

I'm using the BrowserLab app through a web browser not Dreamweaver and the site is hosted remotely. Yet I can see my site in all available browsers within BrowserLab.

 

I admit that I am new to BrowserLab (just started using it tonight) but I was unable to find any documentation that the dreaded IE6 was no longer supported in BrowserLab. More to the point, if it is no longer supported why does it show up in my browser list?

 

Please help.

    IE6 is still supported by BrowserLab. Can you post the URL you're testing so we can take a look at it ourselves?

    Hi, I have the same problem! I could see IE6 initially and now just keep getting the same error message as williebillie. Any suggestions?

    The dev URL I was testing is http://24.248.175.87/gg2e/

    The site still doesn't come up for IE6 but does work for all other browsers within BrowserLab.

    Ok, I tried that and can reproduce the issue with IE6. We'll look into this, thanks for the report.

    Thanks. I could repro the issue with that URL too. I've tested other URLs that work for IE6, but can see quite a number of others don't work as well. I'll pass this along to the team and we'll investigate.

    It appears that a number of our IE6 servers were somehow in a bad state. We've rolled the servers and shots are being returned for IE6 now. I tried both your urls,

    http://24.248.175.87/gg2e/ worked for me, but barkersforpets.com appears to be down currently.
