5.1 WAV Import Failure

If I try to import a 5.1 Wav file into Premiere CS6 which was exported by Audition CS6, I get an Import Failure Error:

 

 

The file will also not play in Windows Media Player.  Does this work for anyone else?

    What was the format of the 5.1 Audio file, AC3, WMA-multi-channel, other?

     

    What happens when you attempt to Import it into PrPro?

    Hey Bill,

     

      It's a 5.1 .wav file and although I pasted  a screenshot of the error in my post, apparently those don't get through.  Premiere's message was that it has a header error.  Nothing more useful than that.
