can't activate even though my account show subscription

my dreamweaver cs5.5 is not activating when I open it... says i need to connect to the Internet...obviously, if I'm posting herein, I'm connect...what can I do to make it work?

    Try disabling your firewall for a minute during the activation.

    Thanks but I uninstalled and reinstalled...and now it works...if next time it happens again...then I'll try your suggestion.  It's too bad that it does not even give you a chance to re-enter your activation code manually....kind of lame.
