Is Muse robust enough to handle a 200-300 page site?
It probably can but would you want to pack that much data into Adobe's proprietary Muse format? That hurts portability if you ever want to move your content elsewhere later. It sounds like you have that concern right now.
Sites with this many pages are typically handled in a content management system.
Thanks Marian...
The majority of the 200-300 pages will be single image (think ad) pngs or jpgs - easy enough to move. Some will feature the included Muse
interactivity - linkage about as expexted for a site like this. Many of the pages will be updated often (monthly). My concern is more about the ability of
Muse to navigate quickly and smoothly. Any thoughts?
Thanks.
I'm working on a 50 page site and Muse is dragging along very slowly... pulling my hair out to do some simple stuff as I watch the beachball spin.
I'm working on one of the most powerful Mac's in my department - but could probably use a memory upgrade to 16GB. I still feel Muse has memory leaks / uses up huge amounts of resources.
