Installation problems Ps CS6

Today I purchased and downloaded the CS6 of Ps. When I try to install the software the installer tells me that the serial number of my Ps CS5 is not valid for a qualifying product. That leaves me pretty puzzled and disturbed. I now have to cope with a trial versionalthough I've paid for a license.
