MY photos are imported in dups..how do I re-set and how do I delete the existing duplicates..many of them.
and how do I reset my catagories and occasions from my original starter addition?

I just plug in my camera and download it imports dups automaticly.

In Organizer, use Edit...Preferences...Camera or Card Reader and put a check in the box to "Copy New Files Only".
and what about the dups already imported ...how do I delete the existing ones..thanks in advance Ken.
You can select them all in the Organizer, right-click on one of them and select "Remove selected items from catalog". You will get an option to also delete them from the hard drive if you wish.
I was hoping there might be a more efficient way.
also, when I migrated over from 'starter edition' to PSE 10 I lost my catorgories . how do I retrieve these groups of photos

I'm not sure what you're asking about -- the photos on your hard drive, or the keyword tags.
