Where is Pixel Bender?

Does this still exist for CS6? (Pixel Bender--Droste Effenct in After Effects, etc.....)

    Pixel Bender has been removed from CS6. It's noted somewhere in the help pages.

    Why was it removed instead of being improved?  Surely for an 'upgrade' features should be added/improved instead of removed.

    Well, I could possibly point you to one of Kopriva's lengthy apologetist blog/ forum posts, but what would that serve? CS6 is a bust on many levels and let's just leave it at that... No need to waste our time with equall lengthy posts expressing our disappointment and outrage over how the AE team and Adobe effed up. I should think we all have better things to do...

    It would have taken away an inordinate amount of engineering cycles to maintain Pixel Bender technology for CS6. Sorry about that. More info in this thread: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4404805
