The top tree branches are picking up a color shadow.  I get this alot resulting in blue or brown fringing around the branches.  How do I avoid or fix this?

    If you open the RAW (or if you shot jpg or tif open those as Camera Raw) you could try if »Lens Correction« (maybe Defringe under Chromatic Aberration and Manual) offers an improvement.

    Helps to correct someof it--maybe most caused by lens--will check out.  Thanks

    Can you tell us what version of Photoshop you are using?

    Version cs4.  I did discover the "out of gamut" warning and used the sponge tool to desaturate the colors in the branches.
