BC and Wordpress

Is it possible to use Wordpress for Blog and link to it from my BC sites?  or Can BC hosts the Wordpress blogs for some of my client sites?

    Hey there,

    You just need to link it, BC is a .NET based system and can not run PHP.

    You do know BC has its own built in blog though? If your not on the plan that has that enabled you can upgrade to get it. SEO wise, the Panda update that google did sometime ago negated the external blog or lots of micro blogs to boost ranking on the main site. It is best to keep it all in the same location.

    Good - I plan to use wordpress and link it.  I'm a BC Premium Partner and have found after a year of trying, the BC Blog Module Templates very difficult to understand and use - My clients don't like the BC blog module. Unless someone can enlighten me as to how BC blog can be as easy as wordpress - please enlighten me, I'm open to more insight there.  thanks

    If it were me, I would just link in the RSS feed from WordPress.

    RSS is dying in that form. Can not just a put a RSS feed link on a site to a blog.

    So if RSS is dying,

    1. why is that?
    2. based on what?
    3. what is replacing it?

     

    Adding an RSS feed to a website is very easy to do with a jQuery plugin, and I believe WordPress sites automatically generate RSS feeds.

    Use tumblr's api, pull the json and format it with jQuery.

     

    I did more or less the same with picasa on my site using google's api to create an image gallery.
