Lightroom 4.1

I have tried to use LR 4.1 tethered to a Canon 5d Mark 3 and still get a "busy" warning (as in LR4). It would appear that the update has not resolved the issue.

Is this likely to happen as having phoned Adobe they were unsure if this would be addressed. I purchased LR as it has the tethered facility.

Hi,

Every Camera is not supported in LR for tethering.
As of now, Lightroom doesn't support Canon EOS 5D Mark III for tethering.

Well why the heck not? The update says it now supports the camera.

"Support" means support, "tethering support" means tethering support.

Canon has only very recently released a version of its SDK which includes the 5D Mk III, and Adobe needs this before it can add tethering support to Lightroom: it was presumably released too late for Lr 4.1.
