Downloading CS6 Master collection and so far 20GB ...whats happening? This is the second time I am trying to download, first time downloaded about 8 GB now its 12GB and again everything disapeared...whats wrong with your servers?
I am having the exact same problem but with the CS6 Production Premium, Full purchased copy.
The download started with the Akamai download manager and when it got to 100% it just reset itself and started downloading again.
I let it run again incase it was downloading multiple files but i stoped it once it got to 100% again and started downloading for a 3rd time.
I check my network stats and its downloaded over 12GB of data, and i know the download is under 6GB so it looks like its on some kind of download loop error.
I tried to open the dmg file that was created but got the error "not recognised"
I would try it again but it's used up my broadband data allowance for the month so i have to wait for it to reset next month before trying again.
Running OS X 10.6.8
2 x 2.66 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon Mac Pro
Safari 5.1.5
Any help greatly appriciated!
Scott.
Scott this seems like odd behavior but I will keep an eye out to see if other users are experiencing similar difficulties. When you attempt to download the software again I would recommend using the Alternate link or choosing the direct download option instead of the Akamai Download Manager. You can find more details regarding troubleshooting the Akamai Download Manager and the direct download option available for purchased products at Troubleshoot Akamai Download Manager 3 | Trial products - http://helpx.adobe.com/tech-comm-suite/kb/troubleshoot-akamai-download -manager-3.html.
Thanks Jeff, The alternate download link worked but when i try to mount/open the dmg file i get: the following disk image couldn't be opened - "invalid checksum"
I've tried scaning it in disk utility and doing everything i can to get it opened but it all comes back to this checksum error "calculated CRC32 $5B87209A, expected CRC32 $6F16BE69"
I'm reluctant to download it a 4th time as we have limited bandwidth allowances, Any ideas?
Scott.
