Hi, I've been watching tutorial videos that I have paid for on lynda.com that teach how exactly to use adobe illustrator. (and I am quite computer savvy) It's like some one is trying to stop me from making a living, like they've somehow hacked my adobe illustrator program. For example, when I follow EXACTLY what the tutorial video says I often cannot get illustrator to do what it is supposed to do!
Should I re-download and install it?
Thanks for your time

before you resort to reinstalling, post a specific question, someone may be able to help you.
oh, and you can start a new thread with a more descriptive topic name, other than you have a problem, most everyone posting here have problems with illustrator.

As Carlos said, this is one of those "my car doesn't run" kind of things and your post is pretty meaningless. AI has enough quirks and oddities to fill a lifetime, some of which are different across versions, and additionally you may still be missing parts of the tutorials, the latetr of which many peopel here won't even know. See how most of what you say makes no sense? You need to be much more specific. It's unlikely that a reinstall will fix anything.
