How to secure an extension with a license key [Development]

Hello

I am looking for a way to secure my custom extension with a securtiy/license key which could be genereated automatically or manually and would be given to the buyer to enable the extension in DW.

Is there a way to do this or a company which provides such services ?

Somwhere in future i need same thing as well.

Because C-files compiled to '.dll-s what is not human readable.

You will write key check functionality in C,
compail dll files,
make you exstension work so, its not working without .dll files.

I'm not sure if this a right way to do.
All other ideas is welcome.
