Can’t drag *without* duplicating!

Whenever I drag a shape with the Selection or Free Transform tool, the shape I'm dragging gets duplicated. It's like Flash thinks I'm holding down the Option key when I'm not. This quick video shows the problem: http://www.erikphansen.com/flash-selection-tool.mov

 

Rebooting doesn't fix it. But I just discovered that using Flash from a Guest user account on my Mac works. So there's a preference somewhere that's screwed up.

 

Ideas?

 

I'm on a MBP running OS 10.7.4 and whatever the latest Flash CS 5.5 is.

    drag and duplicate, it is when you let down the Control key (at least so it is in windows), you may be a keyboard problem

    It's Option on Mac. And the same system works under a Guest account. Clearing all Flash preferences didn't help. There's got to be some conflict with another app or utility I run, but I'm not able to track it down.

    The other thing that makes this weird is that the Direct Select tool works exactly as expected. It doesn't act like the Option key is constantly pressed and if I actually do press the Option key, it duplicates as I move (just as it should).

    Starting Flash and immediately holding CTRL+ALT+SHIFT on Windows pops up the clear all flash pro settings dialog. Perhaps try that (your alt being option, so CTRL+OPT+SHIFT). If it works a dialog will pop up immediately asking if you want to clear pro configs.

    Clearing prefs didn't work.

     

    However, I seem to have fixed it. I'm about 95% sure that the problem was some weird conflict with Air Display, which I had installed but wasn't even using. It also seems to have gotten pixel snapping to work, which I'd noticed was busted. Weird weird weird.
