Navigator window doesn't show the preview of selected Presets. Did anyone else noticed the same?

Trying toggling the Open GL setting in Preferences / Interface / Tweaks

It would be a video-driver bug

That sounds even more like a video-driver issue, perhaps particular to your video-card and driver version.  Since LR now has an OpenGL setting, it certainly makes sense they are using a different video API, which could be quirky and incompatible with particular video cards and drivers.

BTW, you probably need to restart LR after toggling the OpenGL setting, and perhaps restart your system, just to make sure the setting is applied.

Otherwise, you might look for newer video drivers and if your video card has some sort of control panel where you can set performance vs quality try all the way one way or the other to see if it makes a difference, again restarting the system in between.

There have been issues with ATI cards and video drivers.

Which video card do you have?

We are still scrathing are heads here.

Before you fill a bug report would it  be possible for you to uninstall LR

Maybe run a reg cleaner, reboot and re-install LR.

Just trying to eliminate OS conditions.

    You have not been forgotten.

What do you have set for video cache settings under preferences?

Can you try purging your video cache and ACR cache.

And try working with LR after a reboot.

I just checked out your senario again and navigator works properly with a second monitor and grid showing each new photo as I hover over it.

Also what presets are trying to view?

There's a bug between the Grid and Navigator. If I hover the thumbnails in the grid, Navigator will show the last image I hovered and not the current one that is selected. Also, it won't show preset preview if I select the image by the grid.

So basically, hovering, selecting and picking the images in the Grid messes the view in Navigator. Filmstrip is working fine.

I've verified and bugged that one.  You have to float off the grid onto the primary window without going over filmstrip for it to get stuck.

This bug has been fixed in the Lightroom 4.1 release, available now.  To get Lightroom 4.1, go to the Help menu in Lightroom and select Check for Updates, then follow the prompts.  Or, you can download Lightroom 4.1 from adobe.com.
