Disappearing Layers After Latest PS Touch Update

May 16, 2012 4:10 PM

Tags: #disappearing_layers

After the latest PS Touch for Android update, the layers do not work properly anymore. Any effects applied to them, example - after reducing intensity to below 60% - the image disappears never to be brought back.

I have called numberous times on this and have been transfered to so many departments, then disconnected. This isn't very professional. Please allow people to get help for this product when needed.

I am using a Visio Tablet. This app worked perfectly prior to the recent updated (prior to the HDR filters, etc added).

Thank you

Steps to repro? (Always give steps to see if someone else can repro so they can confirm it's a bug.) I haven't encountered such an issue yet. Using a Motorola Xoom (Wi-Fi model) with using Android 4.0.4.

    Hi,

Could you please be more specific on which layer gets the light fx?

What do you exactly mean in step 5 with "dissapears and never returns"?

Could you please add a screenshot of step 2, 3, 4 and 5?

Have you tried restarting the application or the device?

    thanks,

    Ignacio

Adding to what Ignacio said, when you refer to "light fx," are you referring to the "Soft Light" effect under "fx > Photo > Soft Light" on the upper right?

I'm not able to repeat this problem using the steps described.  Looking forward to seeing the screen shots.

I'm trying to repro but cannot seem to do so. (Again, note I'm using a Motorola Xoom Wi-Fi model with Android 4.0.4 and PS Touch version 1.2.) Following the steps in Russell Brown's video produces results exactly as in the video.

    I'm perplexed.
