Hello, I am currently trialling Dreamweaver to see if it viable for our needs. I have followed the set up problems and have problems with the design view.

After downloading and installing a local copy of the files from our FTP site when I open up the website templates to make changes I am not seeing any viable imabe in the design view. I am looking as ascx files of templates chosen from the Interprise Solutions ECommerce suite. I would like to make some changes to the design of these templates or skins.

I need help working out what and why it is not working.

I'm pretty sure DW doesn't support ASCX as they are proprietary files used by sites with Microsoft ASP.net programming. DW doesn't support ASP.net

First, DW relies heavily on a "Defined" site.
Have you defined your site?

What do you see in code view?
