I'm hoping someone can help me, I have started creating a clients site using one of the new templates supplied by Business Catalyst.
However, the ecommerce section isn't displaying correctly within the main templates.
If anyone want's to check out the Cadac template and add something to their cart, you will see the layout breaks out of the template.http://screencasteu.worldsecuresystems.com/Mihai/2011-08-26_1636.png
We haven't touched this template yet, it's straight out of the box.
Could someone explain to me how to get this back inside the body layout.. Business Catalyst has been no help for the past 3 months on this issue.
Thanks,
Chris.
Hi Chris,
The screen cast you provided points to a page not found and the overall site "erdtemplate3.businesscatalyst.com" appear expired. Can you confirm the URL to the shop in question and we'll assist you further?
Based on your initial query it could be how the css is referencing which requires lead slash "/" however we'll need more details to confirm your issue.
Kind regards,
-Sidney
Hi Sidney,
I just created another trail site at the same address, http://erdtemplate3.businesscatalyst.com/shop/sample-catalog-3/sample- product-8
Here is a screen cast of the issue http://www.screencast.com/t/wvlFKwJSKHk
Let me know if you need any more info.
Chris.
Hi Sidney,
Not to be a pain, but this will only change the colour of the h1 etc, not the alignment of the cart/checkout.
Our client has since moved on as we couldn't use this template for them. It would be great if future templates could be quality tested before being released.
Since this hasn't been resolved for over a month now, maybe one day I'll see some progress.
Regards,
Chris
Hey Chris,
Scratch that as this is not an issue with the template as it appears something was altered in your cart layout.
I guess initially I misread your issue as I thought it was just a cosmetic CSS query.
So I found that your current cart layout was missing some default divs which could have been removed accidently when editing.
I noticed this when I inspected your site with my test unedited site using the same template and saw that my site were referencing these divs.
I replaced your current layout to include the referenced divs which corrects your issue.
Hope this helps!

Hi Sidney,
We try to use this template as well for one of our clients and the isue still remains unsolved. It seems to affect the booking module as well.

Any fix?
Thanks in advance
