removing older versions

I now have several installations of cs suite on my mac, will it be an issue to unstall the older versions. I just upgraded to cs 6

Use the uninstaller which you'll find in each application folder. Do not uninstall any application that you have any outside chance of ever needing. This holds especially true for InDesign.
