The tech note is not available anymore - does anyone know what the technote said to do to eliminate this error?
I teach Dreamweaver and have had onLoad error messages each year, and have not been able to eliminate them, so the students' computers needed to be reimaged to correct the error - I don't have any type of tech help with this.
Many thanks for any help that you can provide.
I am running CS3 and will provide additional data if necessary.
I have one student who has managed to lock Dreamweaver (it won't open), and when I put him on another computer, he is getting the on_Load error. I know that he is doing something that is causing this, but neither he nor I have been able to determine what he is doing to cause these problems.
Close Dreamweaver.
Go to C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver <x>\Configuration\ and delete the .dat file.
Done.
AppData is a hidden folder so you may not see it by default.
On Windows XP it's in C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\Adobe\Dreamweaver <x>\Configuration\ .
Wasn't sure if you were still watching the thread or not, but I figured
I'd post anyway just in case.
