Adobe elements 4.0

I have a purchased copy of Adobe Elements 4.0 that is not compatable with the windows 7 pc, can you tell me what I need to do to solve this problem

    Try installing it anyway, perhaps choosing to run it in "Compatability Mode" -- right-click on the program's icon, choose "Properties", then the "Compatibility" tab and experiment with the compatibility options.
