I downloaded the Title Templates for Premiere Pro CS6 yesterday and when I opened Premiere Pro to load them, they didn't show up properly. What could I do to resolve this?
for example in my case (I'm a Cloud member) non properly means:
* The templates are not the same as CS5, I would say a small nonoverlapping subset.
* the respective cursor frame ex timeline is not shown in the title window, on some titles the word LOGO shows up, on some templates strange coloured backgrounds are shown
In AE the templates - aka Additional Functional Content are ok, but still not ok in Premiere and Encore.

(I too am a Cloud Member and my most recent Suite version prior to the cloud is CS3 and I had uninstalled all but Photoshop sometime ago, so I know nothing between CS3 & CS6)
Regarding Encore & Premiere Pro Functional Content templates, etc. You might want to read through this Encore thread regarding these issues.
http://forums.adobe.com/message/4457611#4457611
Encore issues seem to have been resolved, finally, but Adobe instructions are still somewhat vague.
Also, here is my post #53 back to Adobe (Chad Baker) concerning the ongoing Pr titles issue.
@Chad...Following the most recent instructions in the document, the title names DO appear in the "new title from template" window. However, there is still a problem with the size of the directory side of the window and/or the scroll bar. The problem can be seen if you grab the scroll bar and pull down, The scrolling begins just below the "classic_full_hd" title name.
Also, the images associated with the various titles are not showing up in the previews. The PNG and PSD files are in the new templates folder, but they are not coming through in the previews OR when you actually create the menu. Most of them just display the menu text and a series of alternating green/red bars.
There are still ongoing issues with the Pr title content and it displaying properly and there has been no further response from Adobe, to my knowledge.
Yes, another User on the French forum reported the same issue (missing backgrounds): http://forums.adobe.com/message/4459533#4459533
I too have the same problem.
After speaking to Adobe Tech, now it seems in India, I downloaded and followed the instructions to the letter http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/library-functional-content-mi ssing.html
But when I opened Premiere "title from template" I had a list of folders along with a huge list of files (xml) mainly none of which will work properly. Always showing the red bars superimposed over title as mentioned above.
All this along with missing help files (all programs) is no joke for software costing a lot money.
ADOBE THIS IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
Forgot to mention even the title template menu box is corrupted as well. (shows further folders that cannot be clicked on/do not open)
Production Premium installed from discs not downloaded.
The problem lies in the fact that the templates for PPro need a proper installer. (The XML files that are there take care of the right placement in various languages)
I had the same problem with the red and green stripes : this is caused by the fact that the necessary background picture needs to be in the presets/textures directory. (where the XML file with a proper installer would place it)
Once you have copied thebackground PNG to the textures folder the template will display OK. This is a lot of work manually!! so Adobe please come up with a installer to take care of this!
The preview window is still not OK but at least it works.
Hey
I'm finding out much more on this forum than Adobe tech seems to know.
I will go and try your solution.
However we should NOT be having all this trouble with a brand new product that should have been fully tested before release.
My template menu displays like this nothing under the highlighted "General" folder works and thats after I have removed all the new files and folders..
Thanks for the help Henri
Regards
Brian
When you install the Premiere tiltle template as described http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/library-functional-content-mi ssing.html and then select in Permere CS6 Title > New Titile > Based on template and then select one of the new titles you title will look like this:
The Premiere download content has red and green stripes among other problems.
This is the list of menu templates after installing the new downloaded templates. I can't show all the entries because of a scrolling problem with PP CS6. I am using the Win download and win 7 64x.
What I forgot to mention is, if you look in the XML file you can see that the various templates are supposed to go into various directories (like education / travel etc.)
However since there is no installer to take care of this it will be a major job to copy all to the right places by hand.
I'll play around a little further to see what can be done to simplify this.
Adobe this should be really simple for you to come up with a decent installer, or a properly laid out directory that simply can be copied to the right place !!
A presets textures folder??? Funny there isn't one in the download. I only have a templates folder with each titles and png file in their respective folders.
So it would appear Adobe wants us to spend the time to copy each png file into a textures folder we ourselves create.
Like I have time to waste doing that!!!!! (Granted my time has already been wasted just looking for the templates download and instruction on what to do with it.)
Hi Henri
Along with the PNG files in textures I have a lot of TGA files should they be there? (in templates folder)
I have moved some files manually as you said and that does work BUT the templates menu will not display all of them. As per my picture in message 9 where the highlight bar is located is as far down the menu I can go. Click on any folder under the highlight and nothing happens. Even though I know all files are in the presets/templates and textures folders.
This is just getting worse by the minute.
I think Adobe should be thinking about some compensation for their customers who loosing money with all this wasted time trying to sort out thier mess.

I quite agree with your comments.
The presets folder is in part of the Premiere CS6 program folders not in the download where you get templates and a load of other junk that does not work without it seems the correct install program.
Program files/adobe/adobe premiere pro cs6/PRESETS/templates/textures.
As Henri stated above
Manual copy of the files did the trick...
I have CS4 and when copied manually Templates and Textures folders from CS4 presets
It is working...
Now to benefit fron new templates we have to exctract all images files from the new cs6 content and put them into Textures folder.
And presets into Templates...
Xml files contain descriptions, subfolder tree for each preset and the installer would place them in right folder of course, but it is missing here (maybe exists in Mac version?)
But I agree it's painful task to doall this manually.
So if I have time over this weekend I will write kind of script to automate task....
If you redo NOW the download at
http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/library-functional-content-mi ssing.html
everything should be ok. After the extract program finished the PPro titler templates will show up as in CS 5.5, the extract program for Encore works also, but you have to assign most likely the library link in Encore to the new installed library.

Thanks it seems Adobe finally fixed it. I will try to redownload and see.
But it's strange that at Adobe they did not see this bug for quite a long time.
BTW I finally wrote a small program to recreate these missing folders and copy automatically all stuff in right places and it worked for me at least.
The latest update (2012-06-07) http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/library-functional-content-mi ssing.html windows disk customers has gone backwards. The content for Encore and Premiere are back where we started with Encore Library and Premiere menu templates are at the minimum. I have managed to get a complete Encore Library from the next to last download but no luck with the Premiere menu templates. Has anyone had success dowloading the full set of Premiere menu templates? If yes, could you please explain how. Thanks.
I downloaded new set from Adobe as indicated hbernhard and installed it
There are lot of templates present, so it's working
... but I am not sure about the content.
I have CS4 and found many of them as well but in the file posted previously the set of the templates is slightly different (probably even less of them)
So I am wondering if this is not the same template set as in CS5/CS5.5 (not sure...)
For example there is no "Books Full" template and so on.
If you want absolutely the templates present in the previously posted PremiereProFunctionalContent.zip and you downloaded them before from Adobe
I can put somewhere the tool developped over last weekend to extract correctly these templates from that archive (I had no patience to wait for another patch...).
As stated before you can always do it manually but it's a bit ...time consuming task.
Well I suppose there will be another update from Adobe soon to complete these templates, but not sure.
I suppose most of professional users anyway don't use the default ones but are creating personnalized for their customers.
P.S. I think the scrollbar issue on window to choose template is not fixed yet.
