    What version of Dreamweaver?

Are you on Mac OS or Windows?

When it crashes, does an error message appear at all? If so, what does it say?

Does this happen with all .pro files, or just some?

    Thanks for posting crash log.

We will investigate it. Please let us know you can still reproduce crash bug on Mac Book Pro with munltiple files.

Since "Design View" in Dreamweaver is not focused on fully represtenting HTML rendering, Dreamweaver team add "LiveView" mode. Therefore, what you see is expected behavior.

    Thanks,

    Takashi

Thanks for posting the stack trace.

We are investigating this issue and trying to reproduce this issue at our end.

Could you please provide some more details about this issue ?

    1. Are you trying to open multiple files at same time ?

    2. How are you opening the file ? through File -> Open menu or drag and drop ?

    3. if it is drag and drop, is Dreamweaver already running ? or are you drag-n-dropping the file onto the dreamweaver icon ?

    Hi Ferry,

This is something Live View mode in Dreamweaver has conflict opening Proto file.

Can you try to modify JavaScript file as following:

line in the ProtoFile_OnOpen.js file, which resides in Folder (on MAC.

    ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver CS6/en_US/Configuration/Commands/

just comment the above line out. So it will be become

    //newProtoIndexDoc.setDesignViewMode("live");

In that way dreamweaver would not execute this line.

Please let us know the result.

    Thanks,

    Takashi

On Mac OS 10.7, Library folder is hidden.

Can you try this make it visible to search the file?

    Thanks,

    Takashi

    Hi,

if possible, could you please share the screenshot of the folder (~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver CS6 ) , if that folder is not available then please share the  "~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/"  folder contents.

Could you please also check in "/Applications/Adobe Dreamweaver CS6/Configuration/Commands/" folder for the ProtoFile_OnOpen.js file ?

    Thanks,
