I am exporting images from my work database, the metadata is exported as a seperate csv file. I have bridge set up to run a script and combine the image and the csv information.
The script allows me to designate the metadata fields into which the csv information falls eg. what is recognised as file name, decritpion, keywords etc.
each image has locational information avalible in the database that can be added to the csv export, not as geotags but written place namess. My question is: is there a field that I can put this information in that will be regocnised by third party applications like iphoto and flicker, in these applications there is a field for location search into which you can type a place names and recieve a GPS geotag, is
there away to target this field with bridge and send the csv location information to the location search field in iphoto and recieve a geotag?
I know that if you an EXIF geotag will be recongised and represented as a name by some programs but is there a way to do the reverse?
