mark pdf online

Jun 7, 2012 6:44 AM

Hello

I work on a project and my goal is to send the PDF annotations to the server.
I have a problem with Acrobat: when I view my page PDF on Firefox, small icons to make annotations are inactive. How can make them active?

Thank you for your help

cordially

Valeri

Annotation tools are available in the browser if the PDF is part of a Shared Review.

It will have a special document message bar for publishing and collecting comments from the review server.

You can run a Shared Review using your own server (e.g. WebDAV) but the process requires write permissions to the server folder and the published comments will be stored as XML files - you cannot intercept the traffic itself and write to your own database but you could watch the folder and parse the datafiles as they arrive.
