Running as Default Administrator, extension manager cs6 and cs5 hates Pixelbender,

Please Help!  I am getting the following when attempting to install pixelbender via extension manager, before cs6 version it gave me another error code about not being administrator but have always been set that way it's not even an option on my computer because I am the default admin.


 

This extension cannot be installed, it requires 64bit Photoshop version in range of inclusively between 12.1 and 12.1

 

Adobe 64 &32 bit Photoshop Version: 12.0.4    Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit

 

I am running the most recent version of CS5.

    after new extension manager installed today I was hoping this would work... no dice. No love

    There are actually two versions of photoshop cs5: photoshop cs5 12.04 and cs5 12.1.

    Both are the latest versions, but the 5.1 version was included in the cs 5.5 creative suite, but cs5 12.04 has the exact same functions as cs5.1.

    Confused yet? I know i was.

     

     

    Anyway because of the above there are two different versions of the pixel bender plugin for photoshop cs5.

    Since your running photoshop cs5 12.04 you want the

    Pixel Bender Plug-in for Photoshop CS5

    Also i should add that make sure you use the CS5 extension manager to install the pixel bender plugin into photoshop cs5.

     

    There is no version of the pixel bender plugin for photoshop cs6, since the pixel plugin was discontinued before the release of photoshop cs6.
