Just installed the trial version of the new Illustrator CS6 release and what do I find... some very strange behaviour from the app.
Okay so basically all is well until I try to drag or interact with any object... a wall of gray just shadows the whole area of the screen to the right of the cursour. The gray mass would only dissapear if I pan the artboard or zoom in or out
What the heck is going on?
My system info:
Illustrator CS6 64bit version
Windows 7 64bit
Nvidia 9 series

As Mathgias said, try updating your graphics driver. That's just garbage accumularting because the window is not properly refreshed - a miscommunication of the app with Windows and the graphics driver.
I'm having a similar issue but it's not the wall of gray. I'm getting lines and blocks of gray. Our photographer is getting the same thing on a different computer and chipset. We are both running intel macs. Here's a screenshot. I really really hope they fix this because I just ordered updates for CS6 and would hate to have to use CS5.5.
Exact same problem, I haven't found a solution yet.
2x2.66GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon
ATI Radeon HS 5870 1024MB
Same problem, same hardware, different OS: 10.6.8.
It isn't your video driver. It's Illustrator CS6. This thing really got pushed out the door early. You won't find a solution until Adobe addresses it.
Wow, I am shocked to see that I am actually not the only one with that issue... Thanks a lot guys for pitching in, now the ball is with Adobe to patch this.
Phew, I am glad i only downloaded the trial version to find about this bug!
