Changing cs5.5 from windows to mac

i am thinking about buying a mac but my cs5.5 is on a windows computer.  Can I download cs5.5 on a mac and use the old windows product key on the mac or can adobe provide me with a new one without purchasing a whole new cs5.5?

    You have to upgrade to CS6 and make a platform swap. Serials are platform specific, so your Windows serial will be of no use for Mac and that settles that.

    Hi Bchaudha,

     

    I just made the mistake of purchasing  CS Master Collection 5.5 when I was back home in Ohio.  After opening the box I noticed it was MAC OS version.    I need your help. I'll be sending you an email.
