Computer needs for DW & PS?

I own a HP OMNI 120- 1125 with AMD X2 E-450, 4GB, 500 GB, AMD HD 6320. I want to purchase Dreamweaver & Photoshop. Is my computer good enough to run them. If not I'm buying a second computer for a home network and would love any suggestions for makes/models, but please keep it as inexpensive as possible while getting what I need.

    Depends on where you live and what you use for computer for -- i.e. gaming, digital print, graphics, media, etc... 

     

    I live in the US & have put together some very nice systems on Dell's website without breaking the bank.    The rule of thumb is go for as much memory as you can afford.  Photoshop Extended needs a big scratch disk (a 200 GB dedicated drive would be ideal).  And you'll need a good graphics card.

     

    DW requires some resources but not nearly as much as Photoshop.
