New Window and new rollovers causing corrupt code in GoLive CS2

Call me old fashion, but I just love GoLive CS2. Recently I had to go into an old site I had made, to create a new page with new roll over buttons and thumbnail images that would open larger in a new window when clicked. As soon as I did either of the above my source code turned the same color (black), whereas before, the coding was different colors, as it should be. I have serached all day today on the web but cannot find an answer. If anyone has an idea as to what is happening, I would greatly apprciate your help. The images for both the rollovers and pictures for enlarging were all imported to the GoLive site and placed in new folders...AND the problem is occurring on my hard drive, so it's not the internet! any ideas? dazed & confused pixel pusher.
