flyout menu

Jun 9, 2012 5:20 AM

Hey guys,

I really tried a lot but I don't know how to do this. I want to create an easy flyout menu for the iPad in AS3. It should be a list and if you tap on a term the flyout menu should pop up downwards vertically. So the list has to split, the lower part moves down, the upper part stays on its position.

It's not a good example but the basics should work like in this picture:

– In the beginning the list is closed, so you can only see "Getting started" and "The Lay of the Land" with an arrow aligned to the right

– You click for example on "Getting Started"

– the arrow turns downwards

– the submenu with "Welcome" and so on moves downwards while the list is being splitted

Does anyone has a basic code like this example that I can work on? It should only contain my idea, doesn't (or even shouldn't) have to look like the example.

Thanks a lot for supporting me
