AVCHD audio dropout at 15 seconds, but clip is fine in other software

AVCHD audio dropout at 15 seconds, but same clip is fine in other edit software-- I'm generating proxy files for a client from a Panasonic AF-100 shoot. All but one clip work fine. The problem clip plays back only the first 15 seconds (exactly) of audio. No audio appears at all on the waveform. This problem is in both the source and record monitors, and across projects. Media Composer and FCP both imported the file with no problems. Is there a known issue with AVCHD and CS6?

Premiere 6.0.0, iMac (late 2011), no CUDA GPU

There is a CS6 Bug with AVCHD http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1004369?tstart=0 which MAY be your problem

I think I've seen mention of an update... you might want to check into that
All Adobe updates start here and select product, read to see if you need to install updates in number order, or if the updates are cumulative for the individual product http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

Also, when you Import your Clip, be sure to allow time for PrPro to Conform and Index the file. This ARTICLE goes into more detail.
