Publish to the Cloud from On-Premise Author?

Is it feasible to retain an existing Author environment on-premise while pushing the publish environment (publishers + dispatchers) out the the cloud?

 

Are there any caveats that should be considered?

    That is not something that Cloud Manager can do today. All of the instances, (author, publisher, dispatcher) need to be run from a single IaaS provider. This is a feature we may think about in the future.
