I am unable to download anything else. My choices do not include a 64 bit version.

I do not know about the Creative Cloud but the boxed version and download version of CS6 is such that both of those software packages are 64-bit only.  Or so I think.  I don't believe you can run those programs on a 32-bit computer unless you are using CS4 which is a few years back.

markerline is correct, support for 32bit in Premiere Pro was only through version CS4.

You won't be able to install (or even see it listed in the Application Manager) on a 32-bit system.

If you have a 64-bit system you should be good-to-go for all Creative Cloud apps.

On Mac it is difficult to tell from the directory structure whether you are running a 32-bit or 64-bit version of an application although there is a utility which reveals this information.

However on Windows it is as simple as looking in Program Files.

On 32-bit machines you will ONLY see "Program Files" in the C: directory if you installed your adobe applications to the default location

On 64-bit machines you will see "Program Files" AND "Program Files (x86)".  The latter is where all of your 32-bit applications are installed by default unless you choose a custom location which is possible for some but not all computer applications.  With Adobe CS applications you CAN choose a specific target location or even a different drive partition to install your applications.

    Hi Joe,

Premiere Pro and After Effects CS 6 are only 64 bit applications.

They don't have any non 64 bit version .

On a 64 bit machine, you will only see Premiere Pro CS 6 and after Efects CS 6, they will not say 64 bit because its obviuos that these are only 64 bit apps.

If we talk about PS CS 6 and Illustrator CS 6, these are the two apps which have both 32 bit and 64 bit versions, when installed on 64 bit machine.

    Thanks,

    Baljeet

Can I ask then about this having both 32 and 64 bit versions, has anyone noticed any conflicts from running either one?

I have a 64 bit machine and first the 32 bit version installed then the 64 after I ran an update from within Photoshop.

Is there any need to worry about running one vs the other? They are both compatible using friles with other programs etc?

    Thanks

    Dan

@exPAtriat - Dan you can use either version of Photoshop. You should see better performance using the 64-bit version on your 64-bit system.
