PROBLEM INSTALLING FLASH PLAYER

I tried to play BBc iplayer. A message came up saying 'install flash player'. I did this and it showed up as installed on my programs on the control panel. But when I tried iplayer again, I got the same message.?????

You mention "control panel", so I assume that you are on Windows; what version?

What web browser do you use?

Go to http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html
can you see the Flash animation at 1.?
can you see the version information at 2.?
