Hi,
I am using photoshop cs5 extended on windows 7, Unable to load camera raw images into photoshop directly or via adobe bridge. Any thoughts please.
regards, Mossie
Hi!
What camera do they come from?
Did you update camera Raw to 6.7?
Win: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5373
Mac: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5372
Bridge opens exactly as I expect, it shows all the folders and the images within each folder. When I right click on the image and ask it to open in camera .raw it transfers straight to the photoshop main page with the message 'could not complete your request because of a program error', Hope this helps.
If you did not get your copy from Adobe call the Customer Help line and give them your serial number. They can tell you if it is a legal copy or not.
Not saying you have one, but there are a lot of good looking counterfeit copies for sale, especially on eBay.
Can you right click on a jpeg and open it in camera raw?
Have decided to go back to Square 1. I'm going to do a complete recovery and see how that goes. At the moment I don't know whether the problem is software or system program related. By starting again from scratch it will give me a better idea as to where the problem lies. Thanks for your help.

The software was purchased from a reputable online retailer (Amazon). It arrived boxed anf fully sealed.
Amazon has a good reputation, but that does not mean they also have been duped.
Just a visual inspection will not give you any indication if it is legit or not. If you can not get it to work a phone call to check serial number would tell you for sure.
