VendorId support in ADE 1.8

Hi

 

According to the forum post http://forums.adobe.com/message/4213413 , ADE version 1.8 will support VendorId.  However in the latest preview of ADE 1.8 there is no where to specify the vendorid. 

 

Can you let me know if the currently preview supports vendorid and if so how to set it.  If not, when will this be available.

 

Finally do you have an ETA for the production version of ADE 1.8

    JUst read http://www.datalogics.com/products/vendorid/

     

    I think they will be like with books such as those from Barnes & Noble's NookBooks.  If you have one of these books, when you try and open them it will authorize through the vendor, rather then simlpy using the adobeid.  I don't know if any are using this yet.  At least for Nook books this prompting is when you open the book.  Not clear when you would be asked for a Verndorid.

     

    Nook books when opening use the Name and Credit card numbers.   Yes, NookBooks now work in ADE.
