DPS Installation Problem

Hello,

 

I am facing problems installing the Folio Builder - I have tried it in both CS6 and CS5.5 without any luck.

 

In CS5.5 I have downloaded and installed the latest update, but whenever I open the programm again and go to the Folio Builder I can just see the same button as before saying "Download Update". I have tried the process of uninstalling and deinstalling for multiple times.

 

The same with CS6 - after downloading and installing it just says a "software update is required".

 

I dont understand what is happening here. We urgently require the tool as we have to get the publication out. I hope you can help.

    Basically, there werent any errors. After installation it said installation "DONE".

    But I cant see the folio builder application in the application folder.

    In CS6, did you choose Help > Updates and update the DPS Tools?

     

    In CS5.5, did you install both the Folio Producer tools and the Folio Builder panel?

    The Folio Builder Panel is a component extension within InDesign. For CS5.5 & CS6, use the "Window -> Extensions" from the main menus at the top of the screen to open the panel within InDesign.

     

    Please let me know if you're having problems with the panel once you get it open, thanks.

    Ah Ok great - it works now.

    I hadnt installed the Folio Builder Panel for some reason.

    And also had overseen the DPS Desktop tools update through CS6.
