I am attempting to download Elements 10 trial on a Mac Book Pro. I have turned off my pop up blockers, firewalls, third party blockers, etc... I downloaded the assistant and once it installs nothing happens. It disappears out of the dock without downloading Elements. I tried to download AIR as well as it stated that it may need that downloaded before the assistant could work. Same thing happened.
Thank you,
Check the Automatic Graphics setting located in your Energy Saver preference pane. This can prevent AIR applications, such as the Adobe Download Assistant, from functioning properly.
If you continue to have difficulties please let us know what version of Mac OS you are using, and if you are receiving any error messages.
Invalid Checksum error appears if the download got corrupt which could be due to a bad or slow internet connection.
You could try temporarily disabling Error Checking. See http://forums.adobe.com/message/4370247#4370247 to see out how.
If that does not resolve the issue, I woudl recommend using a different internet connection to download again..
Esta Jo Schifter this issue has now been resolved. You may want to post a new discussion in the Downloading, Installing, and Setting up forum - http://forums.adobe.com/community/download_install_setup.
